China Launches First Space Science Laboratory


 


Beijing: For the first time, China made ​​history by launching a space laboratory into orbit. China said on Thursday (29 / 9), the first manned space laboratory has been launched and operated in orbit.

Space ship was named Tiangong 1 which took off from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu Province, China, on at 9.00pm local time. Laboratory space is now orbiting the Earth with an altitude of 350 kilometers.

Tiangong 1 is a dock with an unmanned spacecraft within two months. With the launch, China has demonstrated the advanced technology needed to build a space station to be built in 2020.
